I’m very happy to share with you all that @the_tape_loop has graciously allowed Marginalia to have a small presence among their shelves.
Having only opened on the 1st, The Tape Loop is Vancouver’s newest cultural node — a storefront dedicated to locally produced physical media, as well as an event space serving the drone/noise/experimental scene.
Starting tomorrow, a selection of Marginalia’s inventory will be available for your perusal alongside the store’s usual stock of cassettes, CDs, records, and other merch from local artists and labels.

Closed For The Festival out Friday May 8th.
Only one copy in store!
We also have Holy to Dogs available on cassette and vinyl! And the last copy of their self released tape Camp Peace.
More about Closed For The Festival:
Closed For The Festival will be the first MIDI Janitor record to be released exclusively by We Are Busy Bodies. The new album, Closed For The Festival, is a biography of Jonathan Orr’s shadow self.
Born from memories of his childhood spent wandering rural Ireland in Ballymore, Donegal on his grandmother’s Christian commune, Closed For The Festival masterfully straddles the line between warped joy and sinister naivety. As Orr states, “the songs are always trying to get to that moment of taking your hand and walking you into the woods on a pretty spring afternoon and then abandoning you there to figure out ‘how do I get out of here?’” -MIDI Janitor Bandcamp
Come by and pick one up!

Yaaa thank you @the_tape_loop for carrying our cyber 🍑 shirt! I'm banned because I scribbled all over the contract but you should check out a sick new local music stop.
The Tape Loop opened May 1 and carries local cassettes, CDs, vinyl, shirts, books and zines. Come support Vancouver's latest hub for everything noise, loud, and weird.
They also put out a call for local artists to bring their merch to the store.
