Hey, y'all! It's been a while since we've had a "formal photo" taken of the two of us. We needed one for a recent project and are grateful @willowkrivesti captured this one! Thought we'd share so those of you we haven't met can put a name with a face, and those of you we know, well, "Hiyeee" as Cedar says!ā
Even in darkness there is light. Itās always present. It creates color and contrast. It is inviting and warm. It provides perspective.
We use it in our photographs to direct attention and create mood.
This is where we draw the word dynamic in our work. Light is the force behind it all. Weāre students of light - always seeking to understand it better and interpret it in our images.

Jeanineās courageous and powerful journey has changed so many lives including our own. As a community we are blessed to welcome @littlepinkpics families to Hatteras once again next month. Itās a highlight of the year for all of us. Little Pink Houses provides retreats for women battling breast cancer. Itās a time for them to celebrate family, a time of restoration, relaxation, and healing - for everyone involved.

I received this text from Stephen & Christine after we met up this month for a one year post wedding session. They told me they had their wedding photos displayed in their house and I asked if they could send me some photos, and they did.! Itās cool to see the images in print and on the walls! (I merged two of those photos together for this first one.)
