Lunar meteorite NEA 089, which ejected off of the moon from an asteroid impact and made its way to earth in the form of a meteor. #theinterstellarcollection #meteorite #nasa #spacerock #meteoritehunting
The Allende meteorite is one of the most studied meteorites ever discovered. It exploded over northern Mexico on February 8, 1969, scattering tons of fragments across the desert near the town of Pueblito de Allende. It is extremely important to science because they contain water-bearing minerals, carbon-rich compounds, amino acids and other organic molecules, nitrogen-containing compounds and complex hydrocarbons. In other words, it is believed that meteorites such as Allende may have delivered prebiotic ingredients to early Earth, sparking the very beginnings of life. #theinterstellarcollection #allendemeteorite #carbonaceouschondrites #meteorites #nasa
We’re back, NJ! See you in a few days with a massive display of genuine, scientifically studied, named, numbered and published meteorites. We’ll see you there! #theinterstellarcollection #meteorites #njgemshow #nasa #meteoritesforsale
Looking back through my videos in Ohio, I forgot what I found in one of the holes during my search! #theinterstellarcollection #meteorite #nasa #meteoritehunting #ohiometeorite
Every year, we look forward to the wonderful event put on by the Northeast Astronomy Forum (NEAF) team. It is full of every pro in the industry. There are even real astronauts walking around. What an honor it is to be a part of such a great community! Until next year! #neaf2026 #theinterstellarcollection #meteorite #meteoriteshow #northeastastronomyforum
This is the only public sale we are holding for the newest Ohio meteorite that fell just 27 days ago. If you want to own a piece of history straight from Asteroid Vesta and found by our team just days later, message us right away and this stunning 2.5g individual is yours. We will not be selling any more of our finds from the Ohio fall. The crust on these eucrite meteorites are something you just need to see in person. It’s incredible! The stone is currently being studied by a scientist, and we expect to have the full analysis back any day now. #theinterstellarcollection #ohiometeorite #meteoritehunting #meteorite #nasa
Come out and see the Ohio meteorite that made headline news across the country! Today only. #meteorite #nasa #theinterstellarcollection #meteoritehunting
I’m sad to be leaving Ohio. After 193,352 steps, for a total of 102 miles of walking/hiking, I’m deciding to leave the strewnfield. With a recovery of 6 stones that have freshly fallen from space, I am grateful for this (and every) opportunity when the skies decide it’s time to light up with a show. #theinterstellarcollection #meteorite #meteoritehunting #nasa #ohiometeorite
We haven’t found anything for about 10 days now, but we are back on the board! Another meteorite recovery from the Ohio Strewnfield! We celebrated afterwards as we always do. #meteorite #meteoritehunting #ohiometeorite #theinterstellarcollection #nasa
Stop on by this weekend and witness a stone from space that landed here on earth just 9 days ago, recovered by me during a search from February 18th through the 26th in Ohio. This meteor’s sonic booms shook thousands of homes, and was estimated to weigh 7 tons and was 6 feet in diameter before fragmenting. NASA considers this to be a small asteroid. It released an energy equivalent of 250 tons of TNT. This was a once in a lifetime event here in Ohio. The meteorite itself looks to be a eucrite - a part of Asteroid 4 Vesta. I’ll have the meteorites on display during the Philadelphia Mineralogical Society Gem, Mineral, Meteorite and Fossil Show this weekend! #theinterstellarcollection #meteorite #meteoritehunting #ohiometeorite
Well, it’s been real. Lots of mixed emotions having to leave right now. We worked so hard to narrow down the field, but I have a show I must attend this weekend. There is no better person to leave in the field than Steve Arnold himself. Somethings telling me I’ll be seeing you again very soon, Ohio 😊 💫 😉 #theinterstellarcollection #meteorite #nasa #meteoritehunting #ohiometeorite
Most of us had not found anything in the past few days, but we are still going. Stay tuned for more updates. @6abcactionnews@nbcphiladelphia@fox29philly@cbsphiladelphia #theinterstellarcollection #meteorites #nasa #meteoritehunting #ohiometeorite
