We had an epic adventure in the desert yesterday!
Oliver and I both used to do a lot of this kind of stuff before we had Leo. It’s so exciting as he gets older that we get to do all these fun things with him. For me, I know climbing and other adventures that carry risk taught me a lot about what I was capable of, how to handle fear, and that I’m stronger than I know. We’ve always done our best to empower Leo to make good choices about keeping himself safe, not by taking away risk, but by teaching him how to be aware and responsible.
