We had the pleasure of staying at @the_forest_side and honestly, it’s up there with one of the best hotels we’ve ever experienced. It’s rare to find somewhere that holds true luxury and is genuinely dog friendly, but this place absolutely delivered on both.
Waking up to peaceful forest views and crisp fresh air was pure bliss 🍃 and the food.. next level 😍 the michelin star restaurant serves beautifully crafted seasonal dishes, with Head Chef Paul Leonard creating menus inspired by locally sourced ingredients, some even picked straight from the hotel’s kitchen garden 🪴
To work up an appetite for all the incredible food and cocktails, you’ll definitely want to grab your hiking boots and explore one of the many beautiful trails around Grasmere 🥾
