Last day of VIMA Art Fair 2026 BOOTH B9 Over the past days, we’ve had the pleasure of presenting the practices of Elena Adamou, Johannes Holt Iversen, Stella Kapezanou, Mariandrie, Danae Patsalou, Lefki Savvidou, and Yeti. Artists whose works each approach material, image, and storytelling in distinct yet deeply connected ways. From intimate paintings and embroidered surfaces to sculptural interventions and layered narratives, our booth brings together practices that reflect the diversity and energy of contemporary art today. Thank you to everyone who visited, engaged in conversations, and spent time with the works throughout the fair. Today is the final chance to experience our presentation at VIMA. We look forward to welcoming you #theeditgallery #vimaartfair2026

Opening this week: The Edit Gallery at VIMA Art Fair 2026 (Booth B9) At VIMA Art Fair 2026, The Edit Gallery presents works by Danae Patsalou, Elena Adamou, Johannes Holt Iversen, Lefki Savvidou, Mariandrie, Stella Kapezanou, and Yeti. Spanning embroidery, painting, textile installation, ceramic sculpture, and hybrid wall-based works, the presentation reflects the gallery’s commitment to contemporary practices that move fluidly between material, image, and narrative. Elena Adamou’s 14554 minutes; An Armour of Love transforms personal relationships into a shared chromatic language, exploring intimacy, care, and emotional connection through embroidery and textile. Overlaying the embroidered composition, metallic threads form an armour-like surface that simultaneously conceals and protects what lies beneath. Allowing only fragments of the original composition to emerge, the work creates a tension between visibility and concealment, tenderness and defence. With its almost sculptural presence, 14554 minutes; An Armour of Love becomes a reflection on the protective dimension of love and the emotional structures we build around intimacy and care. The Edit Gallery (@the_editgallery ) presents The Greatest Nation Ever, the first solo exhibition by Yeti (@yetiyetiyetiyetiyetiyeti ) Exhibition: 8 May – 5 June 2026 Tuesday – Friday, 15:00 – 19:00 Saturday, 10:00 – 13:00 Special hours during VIMA: Friday 15 May, 14:00 – 18:00 Saturday 16 May, 10:00 – 16:00 Sunday 17 May, 11:00 – 16:00 Agias Zonis 1, 23, Nicolaou Pentadromos Centre, Limassol free entry The title operates as a double gesture, echoing the language of power while turning inward toward human imagination—unstable, surreal, and ungovernable. Here, the “nation” emerges not as territory, but as a constructed mental space. Working intuitively and drawing on reverse perspective from Byzantine iconography, Yeti creates layered compositions where multiple viewpoints coexist. Figures, animals, and natural elements move between symbolic and lived realities, drawing from mythology, history, science, and religion. A subtle satirical tone runs throughout the works, which remain open-ended, circling ideas of power, existence, and the quiet presence of death. Credits: Dog Heart, Yeti, 2024

Spotlight on Johannes Holt Iversen (@jholtiversen ) Presented by The Edit Gallery (@the_editgallery ) at VIMA Art Fair 2026 Johannes Holt Iversen (b. 1989) is a Danish artist based in Amsterdam, working between painting and sculpture. His practice explores the interaction of light, shadow, and material, resulting in hybrid forms that shift between image and object. Using industrial materials such as retroreflective surfaces, chrome pigments, and construction-based elements, his works respond to their environment — changing in appearance through movement, light, and perspective. Drawing from both natural and constructed phenomena, Iversen’s practice merges abstraction with references to real-world structures, creating works that remain in constant dialogue with space.

We are delighted to announce our new collaboration with Maria Hadjiloizou. Hadjiloizou studied Fine Arts at the Cyprus University of Technology, complemented by a background in fashion design. Through atmospheric, carefully staged compositions, she creates scenes that are both intimate and suspended in time. Figures drift between presence and absence, while colour and light carry emotional weight. Influenced by fashion and image culture, her work is polished yet subtly distant, inviting a slower, more reflective way of looking. We look forward to sharing her work with you through our upcoming projects. 🚀 For available works, you can request a catalogue via DM or email.

Danae Patsalou speaks about her exhibition The Rise of the Sun, the Fall of Time. Through light, memory, and the language of archaeology, the exhibition unfolds as a process of revelation, where what was once hidden gradually comes into view. Small-scale paintings capture fleeting moments in which time appears layered rather than linear, as fragments of the past resurface and the shifting presence of light reshapes perception. The Rise of the Sun, the Fall of Time is on view at The Edit Gallery till 2 May #theeditgallery #danaepatsalou #artexhibition
