The first time I realized the intensity of University education was after I saw an 'E' in my first semester results for 100 level. I froze. Then I realized that my continuous assessment for the course was omitted, and I tried to make every possible move to get it rectified, but it was a Faculty course and about a thousand students must have written the CA's and exams. My issue wasn't peculiar.
I didn't just blame the institution, I blamed myself. Had I studied hard enough to score up to 50 percent in the exams, then I wouldn't have had an E, I'd have made a C or B instead.
So learned my first lesson. Read. "Read Ebuke and you'll pass", I kept telling myself. And by God's good graces, I've passed progressively so far. So this is your sign to put in the work, and even when you don't come out with the results that you expect, then you go at it again. And by God's good graces, winnings await the resilient and the meek. ✨️🥂
