For his Spring Summer 2027 showcase at South African Fashion Week, celebrated South African designer Gert-Johan Coetzee presents Behind The Crimson Door, a theatrical fashion production created in collaboration with performance company CIRK. Blending couture,
aerial performance and storytelling, the showcase becomes a powerful narrative about courage, ambition and the transformative power of pursuing one’s dreams.
Directed by Joanna Pawelczyk, Behind the Crimson Door is a brand new production to take to the Cirk stage and promises to bring even more drama, glamour and aerial artistry than ever before.

If Day 03 had a theme it’d be “reflective” 😎
Got into the harness + mirror suit by 10am. Spent some time testing lights just to catch the perfect bounce.
@mo.mich.o decided I needed more “drama” and tried to spin me mid-air. @orlando.vargas7 filmed his POV of manually winching me up - I was just praying.
