Last week, in partnership with Fáilte Ireland, we welcomed UK event organisers to The CCD for a hosted experience that brought together sustainability and hospitality. The visit was part of an overland trip, with guests travelling by train, ferry and public transport to support more sustainable travel choices.
After exploring The CCD, guests enjoyed a curated dining experience that showcased how events can be both engaging and environmentally conscious, featuring a sustainably sourced menu.

Andrew Kelly, our Security Manager here at The Convention Centre Dublin recently completed a five day Arctic expedition, skiing across three countries while pulling 50kg of essential gear in temperatures as low as –30°C.
Andrew’s trip showcased that whether on the ice or overseeing events, success comes down to preparation, teamwork and resilience.
