House of Haha x The Big Dumb Object banana baby bottle balancing game, 2024 Porcelain clay, platinum silicon 6,7 x 8,5 x 30,8 cm Edition of 10 House of Haha is a friendship, and an artist-duo, by Bonny Poon and Victoria Colmegna. They met at art school in Frankfurt and started working in 2019 by long distance chat after they had fled Europe to their respective hometowns, Toronto and Buenos Aires. Their aesthetic models the patient-doctor relationship. The letter H becoming part of their discourse, Post Hrauma (trauma) is one of their invented genres. The Big Dumb Object is a design studio specializing in the creation of therapeutic objects founded in 2020 by Lucas Poirey. Inspired by the aesthetics and functionalities of combat accessories, sensory education tools, and personal development instruments, Big Dumb Objects are naive, regressive silicone toys intended to stimulate and to pacify. They are handcrafted in limited quantities in Paris. *The Banana Baby Bottle Balancing Game* marks the first collaboration between House of Haha and The Big Dumb Object— also the first model in their three-part series of luxury baby bottles for adults. _Narcissists fueled by a boundless love for their parents, regressive play and talcum powder._
