folk music has an amazing history of field recordings - when Hudson pulled over on the side of the road that fateful day in August this song was added to the pantheon of the american songbook. one of my favorite quotes is how something truly becomes folk when it becomes ubiquitous - you hear a riff a song a melody and don’t know where it came from but you know it by heart - at that moment the song isn’t yours anymore it’s everyone’s- and loved watching this song become everyone’s (my favorites are in the post including a promising up and comer on slide 3)
So happy to be a small drop in the ocean that is this song and work with my dear friend @maxhimelhoch who is truly one of the most amazing champions of artists and if you know HIM you know the incredible scene and community that he has built

The Magazine - The 2nd EP from @zinadelphia
have been trying to find the right things to say but this body of work leaves me speechless - Z spent the last 18 months creating this work of art from soup to nuts - putting so much attention to detail love and care into every aspect of this project. To give you a small taste of her genius - she wrote, edited and creative directed a 60 page magazine (after telling us it would only be 30 pages) to bring the world of this project to life in an innovative and unprecedented way. If you are lucky enough to pick one up on her almost sold out tour this fall - you will see what the world is about to know - that Zinadelphia is one of the most important up and coming voices in music bringing color grace and style to a world that needs it in a way that is all her own. So many times when you work on a project and put it out into the world it feels like the end of a chapter - but this issue could only be truly read with these 6 songs out in the world together
