Going up the stairs I could not believe my eyes. The TBCo. Displays some of the most iconic classic brands ever existed. Once you get over the overwhelming sensation of such a curated shop, we learned about the “secret private room” a bespoke program by appointment only for style connoisseurs. The owner Louis might or might not let you in the secret. But if you get to go into the private room, you will understand the magic of custom mens style. Here the tailor specializes in made-to-measure garments with the most exquisite fabrics. In my, few decades in this planet, I have never seen a garment rise to stardom so fast (and so slow) like the very incredible Merz B Schwanen T shirt. The brand was founded in 1911 and made some of the best quality linens in Germany. But it was not until “The Bear” realized the heavy duty quality of this garment that the brand skyrocketed to fame. The issue is, Merz B Schwanen still produces just a few t shirts per year and there is always a wait on these. We are fortunate enough to have received our shipment and have them available at the shop.
