Today has been difficult. Something I notice about myself is that: I am prone to burnout. As I’ve continued have my bursts of productivity and enhance the stamina needed to have consecutive productive days, it’s become easier; but I am still human at the end of the day. Had a bit of an unfortunate turn of events today that left me reeling for a while mentally but, that being said, I truly feel as though I’ve started to become a conduit of progression and productivity through strife, rather than a victim of it. All of this is to basically say, just keep going guys. Everything passes with time and as long as you keep your heart in alignment with what you truly want and what you truly are, you simply cannot fail. I started seriously working out during my 11th grade year in high school due to CrossFit being one of the electives I could take in Hawai’i (which is still crazy to me lmao). Graduated at 145 pounds and I’m up to 175 (ish) now. Journal Entry: Day 9,890 - 2025 has been the most chaotic year of my life up to date. I’ve experienced the death of love and friendship in a massive sweep that left me so crippled I wasn’t sure if I’d recover, had the most successful year of my career as I can mention up to this point, have made new friends and communities despite my new scars; ones whom have allowed me the space to lead with transparency and have accepted me regardless, and knocked off a few things on my bucket list (which has almost always felt like more of a fun novelty to have throughout my life, rather than something actually feasibly obtainable). I’ve walked through hellfire and I’ve felt the sting and burn of the flames and while I’m still geared towards continuously growing and forging myself and my path stronger still… I can’t help but take notice of how far I’ve come. Life is a mess. It’s unorganized, unclean, unsanitary, and uncontrollable; and I’m finding more and more reasons to love the experience of it all the older I get. For those who have loved me, I am grateful for you. For those who have abandoned me, I thank you. And for those who support me, I give my heart to you.
