Hello! I’m Roli Essiet , known to some as Lead Planner ,and I’m super excited to finally introduce myself and my incredible team to you all.
I’m the Lead Planner and Executive of The Paradise Events, and I am ultimately responsible for overseeing every event contracted to the company.
I live in Lagos, Nigeria, but I plan events on a global scale . I am a graduate of Petroleum & Gas Engineering from the University of Lagos and I’ve built a niche for myself in the event industry, doing what I love most.
I know it might soundddd cliché, but I truly believe I was born to be an event planner 🥹💕
I’m also the author of “The Ultimate Wedding Checklist.”
Now, let me introduce you to the amazing team behind our events.
From our lead producers to our coordinators, each person plays an essential role in executing seamless celebrations. I’m delighted to share a glimpse into what my incredible teammates do:
Lead Producer – Assigned for all events. Directly responsible for coordinating the entire planning process for the event.
Program/Timeline Coordinator – Manages the flow of the day (from setup to tear down) and works closely with the MC.
Setup Coordinator – Ensures vendors deliver and follow the floor plan.
Guest Coordinator(s) – Makes sure every guest is well taken care of. Depending on your guest size, 3 to 15 guest coordinators will be available for your event. 💞
Content Coordinator – Captures key moments for internal use (and with clients on request).
Morning Prep Coordinator- Works alongside the bridal and groom assistants, staying with the bride, groom, or celebrant at the hotel to ensure a smooth, timely flow from makeup to dressing, outfit changes, and overall schedule coordination.
Bridal/Groom’s Assistant – Provides full-day support to the couple (weddings only).
Every project reminds me why I love what I do — celebrating people and turning moments into lasting memories. I’m grateful for our wonderful clients and my talented team.

This Catamaran Cruise was everything and more💥
From the sing along in our bus to enjoying the peaceful sailing experience in the calm turquoise lagoon from Pointe Jerome to Ile-aux-Cerfs.
My guests also had the opportunity to experience the scary banana tube ride and also parasailing.

From the quiet planning to the precise placement, every element is thoughtfully brought to life before the final reveal. What you see is beauty; what happens behind the scenes is intention, creativity, and care woven into everyyyyyy single detail.
The brief started as a classic white and black palette, and we suggested a soft touch of blush to elevate the entire look… safe to say it brought everything together beautifully.
Though it was a smaller guest size celebration, we approached it with the same level of intention and detail as we normally would do because size should never limit impact.
And yes, we stayed well within budget without compromising on quality, design, or experience. With the right planning team and the right vendors, magic will always happen .

When @taymiey shared her brief for the white decor, I instantly knew it had to be Adeola of @lasoireexperience to bring our vision to life ✨
Goshhh… this decor was so calm, elegant, and deeply reflective of a friendship and love spanning over 20 years 🥹💕
Every single detail felt intentional, you could literally feel the love in the atmosphere. The black and white theme was absolutely perfect, timeless, and beautifully executed.

As the lead planner, I’ll say this- what you’re seeing here is barely 10%.
Before the doors open to our amazing guests, I’ve already been on calls, adjusting timelines, confirming vendors (and re-confirming them), fixing layouts, moving pieces around, and solving problems quietly. While guests see beauty, I see logistics, flow, and backup plans.
There’s always a moment where something shifts - and that’s where experience kicks in. Calm face. Quick decision. Sorted.
Because for me, every event isn’t just another event , It’s responsibility. It’s protecting a vision. It’s making sure my clients walk in stress-free, never knowing what it took to get there.
