As my style of teaching is socratic and dialogic, I will be the psychopomp facilitating our soul journey in our time together. Live classes are focused on application and skill development in reading. In the live class we cover special subjects as timing and tarot, the cards of the chart, reversals, shadow work and more! This time is for digging deeper into the week’s material, sharing perspectives, conducting group readings and sharing space.

I am so excited to be enrolling the 11th (!) cohort of Thresholds, truly the course that started it all. I am seriously astounded by the cohorts that form in this particular container. Each go round just deepens and the student feedback is ever more humbling.
To be honest, I am often told by students that my courses are comparable to collegiate study, and well that is the intention. I know that many have had horrible experiences in institutional education, and yet still want a space to express their genius amidst others who just as passionate about learning.
As testified by my students, this is akin to a graduate level course but far more juicy! This work is one-of-a-kind, and we go far deeper in our studies than you may find elsewhere, including collegiate institutions (which also have included my work as part of doctorate curricula), and I provide you with a plethora of resources to meaningfully engage your learning.

Red Tarot offers a numeric system and ordering of the cards that differs from what has been traditionally to make a numerology cogent to decolonization. Rather than other teachers approaches that use a “teacher card” mode of connecting the minor and major arcana, I work with a harmonics, a mode that understands the majors and minors connected in the ways that octaves are.
We cover the Magician, the Wheel of Fortune, the Pages and the Aces, and on each week. Something then there blends between the rational and the intuitve.
The numeric order of the book matches the structure of Thresholds so that each week we work through a chapter of the book. If you want to go deeper with the text, learn tarot and establish a spiritual practice that bears dangerous memory, that confronts white supremacy and anti-blackness— this is the course for you.

This course meets at the threshold between the seen and the numinous. We work with the cards as aesthetic objects and decolonial imagination. We build skill and we build community.
Thresholds is for those at the edge of life, navigating uncertainty, trauma, and self-determination. This class welcomes beginners and experienced readers, seekers, teachers, and healers who want to study tarot through a decolonial and intersectional lens.

What spiritual lineages do you belong to dear reader?
Honestly, I’m not sure any chooses to become a spiritual teacher. Rather life initiates them, calls into the prophetic vocation. There are certainly much easier paths in life, but this path is taken upon necessity. To break generational cycles, to heal deep heartbreak, to recover from addiction, while also protecting from corrupting influences, and blessing new beginnings.
I have my own relationship to Spirit and I pray that my work finds those who will truly benefit from it. My cohorts are often small, but its Spirit is big. My cohorts and my clients are literally my dream people. I am blown away by who shows up, and how committed they are.
I am currently enrolling in my comprehensive, foundational tarot course Thresholds. It is for the pariah prophets. The sacrifices of our struggle subvert the sense of dread provoked by the supremacist state. It shines a red light on the cards and tools of divination. It promises to deepen your connection to tarot, support a client practice and or compliment your spiritual work or endeavors to begin.

As always, I hope you have been tending and fortifying well. Amidst ever-changing skies, and perhaps as cathartic and emotive as this Scorpio full moon was for me, it was for you, I am reminded that every garden is also a grave. As Taurus is ruled by Venus, the Empress in the Tarot, and Scorpio becomes Death in the Tarot, we are reminded of the power required of embodiment.
The Empress brings us to our bodies, toward sensuality and somatic intelligence. She connects us to our roots and Heaven as a garden where love blooms brilliantly.
With this constellation I am reminded of Mary of Clopas, one of the three Mary’s present at the crucifixion. It is in the soul’s feminine flesh that the resilience to stay present is found. She knows the sacred gifts to bring to the mysteries of death, descent and eventual resurrection. From the Empress to Death, from Taurus to Scorpio season, from the Scorpio full moon at the heart of Taurus season and the Taurus moon within Scorpio season is tableau of the birth to death cycle. May we join with those who know how to anoint the dead and bless the new born babes.

How are your ritual relationships dear reader? How are your altars? How are your tools?
I make it a point to cleanse mine weekly. I offer up sacred smoke daily, refresh my libations daily and of course pray and recite my mantras daily. I am fixed rising gal, so I do thrive and tend to establish a fixed form that becomes spinal for my craft.
For the new and experienced card readers who join in each cohort of Thresholds, I challenge to do a daily reading. I suggest picking a time that can routine for you, such as in the morning or before bed. I mean who doesn’t love to pull cards while enjoying a cup of coffee?
Becoming a skilled cartomancer is to understand it is a craft. Like all crafts, there is no way to grow without putting the required hours, without getting experience. Everything is available to be inspired by the reading, the cards 24/7.
Then you eat, live, breath the cards and live pulses with an enlivened intuition.
As I like to say, Thresholds is my cast-iron skillet. The more its worn-in, the more richly seasoned are its meals. It can handle the high-heart. There no toxic chemicals or heavy metals, and tis deliciously versatile. It just gets more and more flavorful and it offers something truly nourishing.
