On March 28th, 2025, our Instagram page was suspended. I thought it’d be a walk in the park because this wasn’t our first rodeo with Instagram suspensions. Only for our “landlord” to send a follow-up email on April 2nd saying our account had been permanently disabled. I say “our” because this community is what it is because of you all. I tried not to be hurt, but after building this brand for four years… seeing it disappear just like that? God—actually—abeg. We poured our energy into growing the backup page. 6 weeks later, my “landlord” permanently disabled that one too (Who dig this pit for me) 😭😭😭. How much hope can one person have? I was busy celebrating one of the happiest days of my life when they disabled it. Omo, I left them alone and decided to just focus on being happy. Through it all, so many of you looked for us—some found us on TikTok, others sent WhatsApp messages, emails, and words of encouragement. Even while we were restricted to TikTok alone, you stayed connected. Support like this means everything. ❤️ Yesterday, everything took a turn for the better. Our landlords reviewed the case and reinstated both accounts. We want to celebrate, but we’re also scared… just what if??? My—scratch that, our—heart is full. Our joy is full. Onise Iyanu fr fr!!!! Everybody shout Power! WE’RE BACK IN OFFICE. Your resident modest fashion plug is back!!! How did you survive without us? Because honestly we almost didn’t without you.
