I used to feel embarrassed about how many times I’ve changed direction. Like I couldn’t commit. Like I was flaky. Like everyone else had figured out their path and I was still wandering.
But when I actually sat down and mapped it all out, I realized something: every pivot taught me something I needed for the next one.
through heartbreaks and friendship rifts, career changes and international moves, here’s every pivot I’ve made so far… and the one I’m making right now.
Some of those pivots were exciting. Some were devastating. Some I chose; some chose me. But every single one required me to trust that starting over wasn’t the same as starting from zero.
