SNIPER CADRE
Precision. Patience. Discipline.
The Snipers Platoon Cadre represents the highest standard of fieldcraft within the Battalion. Masters of concealment, observation and precision fire, they provide commanders with reach, intelligence and lethal accuracy when it matters most.
Within the cadre, new members are taught the foundations of the sniper craft, developing patience, discipline and an uncompromising attention to detail. Under constant scrutiny, they learn what it takes to operate forward, think independently and earn their place among the silent professionals.
Operating alone or in small teams, they endure the worst ground, the longest hours and the hardest conditions. Watching. Waiting. Striking with purpose long before the enemy knows they are there.
Silent Professionals. Decisive Results.
Have you got what it takes? GO BEYOND.

The Foot Guards.
People often look at the Foot Guards and think we’re all the same.
Same bearskins. Same scarlet tunics. Same presence on the parade square.
But look closer… and you’ll spot what makes each regiment proudly unique.
The Foot Guards are made up of five Infantry battalions, all cut from the same cloth — disciplined, professional, and held to the highest standards — yet each with its own identity, history and traditions.
From button spacing on the tunic, to plume colours, to the collar insignia and regimental details you’ll only notice when you’re in the know… every regiment carries its own signature.
And it runs deeper than uniform details — each regiment has its own motto, its own character, its own story:
Grenadier Guards – Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense
Coldstream Guards – Nulli Secundus
Scots Guards – Nemo Me Impune Lacessit
Irish Guards – Quis Separabit
Welsh Guards – Cymru Am Byth
Five regiments. One standard. One family.
Each different — and proud of it.
Household Division – Septem Juncta In Uno
Right then… be honest — can you translate all of the mottos without looking them up?
