The yearly casual shoot with @faelablanche .
I wanted to experiment with some new stuff and I am quite happy with the results. Went to try out stuff out of my comfort zone too!
Also realised we went to the exact same spots we shot casual stuff the last time. Then again, the spots we used are really nice for a chill 30min shoot.

Day 12! The week ended with a bang. Started cold, but the sun came out for a beautiful afternoon! Captured some small moments at work, then headed out with my amazing friend (and colleague!) @the.faebae . We soaked up the last sunbeams, chased bubbles near the Natural History Museum, hit up Naschmarkt, and even grabbed a shot at the Prada pop-up photo booth. What a perfect way to close out a busy, but great work week. So grateful to have a friend like her! ❤️

So here's a thing that is long forgotten. The art of using up the last frames of film you have in the camera so that you can get it processed 😅 this was just after Fan Expo and I still had three or four frames of kodak portra left so instead of just burning it I met up with @faelablanche for coffee her last day in Canada.
You can even see in these photos the shutter problem I discovered with my camera which is why I lost half the film photos I took at Fan Expo 😭 but there's a kind of beauty in that as well.
Anyways I'll be back to my regular scheduled blood pool post as of tomorrow this season's only just starting and I'm so excited!
A thing that I rarely talk about are the failures and lows I go through - of course I don’t - this is social media…
When I was younger I loved the idea of being a model, and frankly I still do. I got scouted when I was 18, which is quite late tbh. I did not have great management, I went to endless castings, and only got booked for very few jobs. That’s just the reality for the bigger part of people getting into the field.
I left my mother-agency at some point a few years in, as I learned that I simply was not enough of an asset, not interesting enough and did not fit the mould. I state this as a fact, not as something that I see as unfair, but simply a truth of the industry.
After failing to find new representation in Vienna, I gave it another shot in Toronto. Most did not answer, the others kindly rejected me. Honestly it was a bit of a blow, but it is what it is.
So I will continue enjoying it as I did the last decade: through collaborations with friends like @annakrekova.photo and by seeing all the beautiful shoots, that so many incredible models and photographers deliver for public wonder.

Both Anna and I both adore working with water, but sometimes all you have is a bathtub. When we did this shoot we wanted to work with colours and moods and whilst the other set turned out more sultry, this one is a bit more on the softer side styling wise, but the lighting and colour grading make it feel more edgy/film-like.
I miss spontaneous shoots like this one 🤍

A month packed with friends and with packing up most of my life in Vienna.
The new year started, everyone is creeping out of hibernation and I am looking forward to what adventures lie in the future! 🥰

A new project finally came to be last Saturday for something I had in my mind for a while. Like most of those projects, I had a vague direction but not a complete picture and the beauty of working with Fae is that she understands what I want and we both piece it together 🩵
