A magic opening performance by homegrown Bahraini act @the.dmt.experience at @beyon_aldana and @scenenoise ’s concert headlined by Glass Beams and The Yussef Dayes Experience. The band perfectly set the tone for the night with an avant-garde jazz-psychedelia instrumental set that had the crowd swaying in a trance before band lead and visionary producer @dustizm bridged the anticipation with a rollercoaster textured downtempo trip-hop set.
We caught up with @dustizm after the show to delve into his sound and how it felt to perform for more than 1500 people in a packed Desert Garden ahead of two musical “giants”. Stay tuned for the full interview.
