Today is my last day in the shop before my brother’s wedding, and I am on a mission to make sure my employee is set up for total success. All doughs prepped, all fillings made, they just have to bake, fill, and look fabulous while doing it.
But let’s be real… am I actually going on vacation? Because I still have to bake 300 cookies for the wedding when I get there, and my suitcase is 90% baking equipment right now.

I almost let a quiet start get in my head, but by the end of the day, those “too many” cookies were almost gone.
