I found this large print of my biological parents (I grew up with them and step parents) when my mom was pregnant with me. And now I am 53! Such a fun thing to find as I packed up my mom's things to move her to an assisted living/senior living place. I found all sorts of little treasures. Thank you Frank and Kathleen for being cool, creative people.
The amulet i made in the stone carving workshop with @benjaminhellerart
Started out as a gourd shape that turned into this bird head shape. The stone is so cool. It took all day to shape and smooth but totally worth every moment as I leaned into the slow process.

Stepping into the dark, crowded club with the incredible sound system that feels like a hug, wooden floors and multiple labrynthine stairs all felt like a homecoming in my dance club world. I did not remember the space except the huge speakers and yet, I knew where to find my way. If you know, you know.
The interior is incredibly intact, even after 20+ years of being used for other purposes. So cool.

I made a little marble lamp!
Did a 2 day amulet making workshop and I made an amulet I am super proud of. The second day I made a lamp. Not exactly an amulet but I had a vision and he had this perfect piece of marble. Got to use power tools that shook my bones and feel the texture of stones shape in my hands. Thank you fellow students and fantastic teacher, Benjamin Heller! Check out his incredible work.
