gonna try & make this short & sweet: Decided to go back to finish and commit to a degree during our favorite year of 2020. My life was pretty stagnant at the time. Many changes were coming in. Lost a really close friend two years prior. Just started coming out of my biggest depression yet and was a little lost. I was in the community college grind for 5 years at that point since I was too busy partying my ass off in my 20s lol (no regrets at all). Little did I know how hard the next 5 years of my life were going to be. The amount of sacrifice I had to make to make sure I came out on top for myself was the hardest part. Lost a lot of people along the way but also gained so many who supported me. New friends and now, new family that just wanted to see me reach my goals. Pursuing a degree in Architecture is no joke. The workload is insane. Ask anyone who I spent a lot of time with, I was always drowning. Luckily my life of partying all night made it easy to stay up to work lol - and eventually I learned to balance the work/party load, as seen in my stories 😅 The amount of time and effort you need to stay focused to just produce was something I never thought I would need to do. In the end, it taught me that I really can do anything I want - we all can. The excuses we make for ourselves are the only things that limit us. Nothing is impossible if you’re really committed. Genuinely none of this would have been possible without my parents, my family, and every single one of my friends. Whether you’ve come and gone from my life or you’re still there in some sort of capacity, I thank you. Here’s to whatever the hell I decided to do next and whoever wants to join me 🥂🫶🏽 📸: @flowsoftheforce
