I’d always wanted to see the @BristolBalloon fiesta for myself, so figured I may as well make a work trip of it! Those 6am ascents of almost a hundred balloons were totally magical 😍
And in between we had the pleasure of making up quite possibly the biggest gang of tiny kids faces yet. They asked for all sorts of creative looks and kept us on our toes 😆💖🌈

Having had a lifelong love affair with metal music, horror and alternative culture, I always had a feeling the crowd at @downloadfest would “get” the flavour of hair and makeup we do at BadMakeup.
But I had no idea just how much, the beautiful moshers of Donington DO NOT let us down! Such a fun and busy weekend with the most wonderful crowd 🖤 So many unique looks and a LOT of magnificent beards 😆

Heading into the last festival of the season, an ode to every single one of the incredible BadMakeup gang who joined me on the road this summer 🥰 Thirty of you have come to work alongside me all over the UK and I am so grateful to each and every one of you, we’ve had so many laughs along the way 🥰 You really do make this business the fun, warm and inclusive space that it is.
We’ve had events so busy we ran out of stock, and events that were absolute tumbleweeds where you stuck around regardless for moral support 😆 We’ve traversed heat waves, mud baths, crying children, uber-Karens, one mid-makeup puker and you got me through it all with many jokes and smiles along the way.
I couldn’t be more grateful for your hard work, your talent, your creativity and your company. I only wish I’d had the foresight to film everyone! Next year I’m going full paparazzi on the lot of you.

I was so busy doing having an end of season sort out at @MuckyWeekender that I didn’t have chance to make a cheeky lil reel, but luckily @daisychainmakeup@silverscreenmakeup and @weavearmyy had me covered!
