My first overseas competition in the ASEAN University Games was not one I was proud of. Fish out of water.
Happier to say, in the Southeast Asia Karate Federation Championships, I felt more of myself on that mat. Proud of my growth, but I'm far from satisfied. I know what's next for me, and where I will eventually be.
We learn.

Debut Year.
I remember telling myself I would never compete.
Grateful for my team and coaches that better me as an athlete. And the support from loved ones that make me human.
Not the desired outcome in the end, but definitely better than I had hoped for in the beginning. Proud of what I've achieved this season, committed to the next.
