Resurrecting the tense, grime-infused skanker “Ghost You,” with vocals from the fierce MC @limmzofficial , @thatopus brings DDD BandCamp Subscribers a VIP of the mind-boggling track.
Debuting his mark on DDD with the original in 2025, UK native Opus brings a musicality to his productions that goes far beyond typical bass music construction — weaving cold, mystical soundscapes around shuddering sub-bass depth that feels both cerebral and physically exhilarating.
With his tracks becoming staples in TRUTH’s DJ sets, the classically trained viola player weaves strings and other live instruments in his craft. Opus has played in 11 countries, showcasing his wide-ranging musical talent and abilities.
“Ghost You VIP” reimagines the original with bass-fueling sound design. It doesn’t just hit hard but creeps under the skin, pairing gritty tension with dancefloor energy.

After honing his production skills for a couple of years, Welsh native Opus began to impress White Peach Records, who promptly signed him for 4-track EP ‘Marbles’ in 2017. This set off a chain reaction and his music was soon picked up by Crucial Recordings and seminal dubstep label Chestplate. After multiple EPs spread across White Peach
Records and other labels, his debut album ‘Basic Shapes’ (White Peach, 2023) was a no.1 best-seller on Bandcamp and is a perfect exposition of his wide-ranging musical talent, featuring strings and other live instruments played by the man himself.
Over the years Opus has played in 11 countries, including US tours in 2018, 2023 and 2024. From playing at Fabric (London), Motion (Bristol), Outlook Festival, Outlook Origins, Nass and Boomtown Fair, Opus has gone from strength to strength. 2025 sees Opus return to his roots with ‘Steppes’ EP on powerhouse label Deep Dark & Dangerous, along
with plans to return stateside over the summer.
