Another aspect to That Old Craft Magic that I haven’t shared much about yet is the witchy divination side of my creativity. I’m definitely an art witch. Sometimes that art is jewelry and sometimes that art is tarot, oracles, and pendulum readings, spells and ceremony. Magic is where belief fills in the gaps where science hasn’t explored enough yet. I’ve been very fortunate to be hired for a few Halloween parties over the past few years and I bring a mid-90’s small town Psychic vibe to the experience. Guests always get a small gift with every visit too. Maybe someday I’ll do readings at my art booths too, but for now I keep them separate. Today at the @crossroadsflea was such a success! Weather was perfect and so were the people. @whiskeyandbone and @syd.and.gray both stopped by which was such a treat 🛍️Lots of vintage treasures found their homes. The newest jewelry pieces I’ve made were very popular, so I clearly need to photograph and post them here. 🎨Met a KCAI freshmen and relived my glory days in art school. Can’t wait for next months flea on Nov 9th, which is perfectly timed for the upcoming holidays! 💜Big thank you to my husband and dad for tent setup and my mom for helping out all day!

This weekend I checked something Major off my bucket list: I took a Metalsmithing class!! I’ve been making jewelry and artwork my whole life but always knew this material and process would make my heart sing. It didn’t just sing, it roared!! Equally challenging and inspiring.
