One of my friends referred to this pattern as "Dohcore" so now I HAVE to name something after that. Perhaps this pattern? Perhaps a whole project? Who knows? What I do know is that this shit is lowkey majestic.

Q1: What is the inspiration behind this track?
“This song is dedicated to my Behringer td-3 which is not in the best condition. I call it my “used up Fucktoy” because to me acid = sex music sounds in my brain no matter the tempo.”
Q2: What is your general creative process when making music and for this track?
“I literally made a 1 bar acid line and then turned the bpm up to match the vibe I was feeling that day. Once I layed the acid down I made the kicks, added other drums, and a sampled hoover 1 shot. I didn’t add a vocal sample until way later after most of the song was arranged because I figured that a song called “used up Fucktoy” should at least have some sort of obscene bullshit shouted in the background.”
Q3: What is the meaning behind your music as a whole and for the track on the compilation?
“There’s not really much of a deeper meaning. I just love acid and fucking people’s ears with hard fast syncopated beats. It’s kinda like having sex with your best friend for multiple years but it never gets old. Fuck programming acid on an actual td-3 tho.”
Ok I'm starting to understand the workflow of the digitone a liiiiiiitle more. This jam was fun tho.
