With a long weekend and no rugby what better way to celebrate by sharing what an amazing season it’s been for the 1s this year.
Promotion secured, 2s winning the league, still in the Papa Johns cup and a tour to Valencia pending. A season to remember for sure

From what we’re hearing we managed to do what no other team in the country have done. Picking up every single point available to us. Thank you to every team in the league for being a part of this journey with us. To every supporter, player, physiotherapist, chef, bar staff, Ref, and the rest. Thank you.
The boys have made club history, something we’ll cherish for life.
Meet the team!
As Stu moves into his 3rd season at the club, with an ever growing quality player base, the only right thing to do was build a strong coaching team around him. With Both Ash and Lorenzo moving into their second seasons at the club their wealth of knowledge and respect from the players made moving them into the roles an easy pick.
Ash, a hard hitting, hearty centre looks to build on a strong backline for both 1s and 2s this season. Giving them the tools to finish off plays and secure more silverware.
Lorenzo, a former professional who has also represented his country is going to put the forwards through it this year. The pack are looking forward to dominating opponents again. Set plays are about to level up.

Rory O’Reilly - club chairman
Rajan played his first game for Ts in September 2019 and was clear from day 1 that Raj was a leader on and off the field. He started as a ball carrying no8 with tireless appetite for work around the park and is now a marauding loose head prop. Raj was made 1st XV Captain in 2023 by a unanimous vote. There was only one choice be the clubs next Captain and the clubs first Sikh Captain in the clubs 60 year history.
Raj has been immense on and off the field. Always the first one to help around the club and is a mentor to many of the younger lads in the squad.
Raj plays today for his 4th successive season without missing a game. Several of those games played through injury with broken bones and ligament damage.
We couldn’t be prouder to have him as our Captain and I speak for everyone at the club by congratulating him on his 100th Cap for Ts.

Raj is a true leader, both on and off the field, always putting his teammates first and helping drive Thamesians into the open, welcoming club it is today.
Every game, he gives absolutely everything. He’s the hardest player to take off so much so that he’d often sub himself back on just to be out there with the boys (if he ever lets me sub him)
You’ll often find Raj at the heart of the action, anchoring the back of a maul, clearing out a ruck, dropping deep to catch a high ball or charging forward with a carry that leaves the opposition bouncing off him. Whatever the role, one thing is guaranteed: he gives it his all, every single time.
As a captain, reaching his 100th cap is a testament to his courage, leadership, and, above all, his pure love for playing rugby alongside his friends.
*feels very weird posting as I’m also the admin of this page. So will say it’s been a bloody pleasure and wouldn’t want to change it for the world. The lads I’m achieving this with have made it worth every Sunday waking up in pain.

1s - currently 19 from 19. The goal is clear. Go 20 from 20 and create some club history. An invincible season is up for grabs. The men play @southwarkrugby who we haven’t seen GW 1, but the memories of the game are still very strong a last min pen won us that game by a single point. We know we’re in for a game.
2s - league season finished in a strong position. It’s time to have some fun. They face up against a club side from @ironsidesmensrugby - sun, beers and some flowing rugby to come from the early KO. 12pm don’t miss it.
@baileyferdous makes his debut at skip for the 2s this season. Fair to say him and the first team skipper could get married at some point so here’s to friendship.

A class game against some good lads at @lawsocietyrfc . The first half ending 12-5 to T’s. The boys turned up the heat in the second half running in quite a few unanswered try’s. The social back at the clubhouse was deffo one to remember.
2s - playing their last game of the season, went away and fell short to one of the better sides in the league. A great performance from a squad filled with Youth and experience.

1s - home to law society, looking to make it 19 from 19. With the league secured last game week. The lads look to do something not done in the clubs history before. The mystical undefeated season.
2s - Away to Hampstead, last game of the season for them, Travel with a strong squad!

1s - crowned league champions with 2 games to go. Currently 18 from 18 all with bonus point wins (we think the only team in the country) the lads have their eyes on going for a record 20/20 setting new club records and abit of Ts history. 2 huge games to come. Thank you to @londonexiles for being class opposition over the 2 games and overall good lads.
2s - last big away day of the season saw a booze bus for the ages. 21 strong went away to a @haringeyrhinosrfc side who gave a tough game at home. But the lads were in good spirits and ran away with the game.

Over 60 Thamesians across men and women take the field this weekend, for some the last game of the 25/26 season.
1s are home to an inform @londonexiles side, who gave us a hell of a game at their home ground in the first half of season. The boys are looking to close out the season as strong as they’ve been. A win at home secures the title.
2s travel heavy to @haringeyrhinosrfc if the first match was anything to go by this will be an eventful one! A side packed with youth and experience. The booze bus will be fun no matter what.
