The steering damper I adapted from a Honda CRF in action. It's intended purpose does not 100% translate die MTBs, but just for shits and giggles I wanted to try it out anyways. #framebuilding #fabrication #downhill #tigwelding #mtb

This is what I would call a "dream build". A mix of old and new, standard and custom, high end and entry level. I don't mind combining a 15 year old XTR crank with a custom frame, brakes that have been on 5 bikes before, a Deore chain and high end suspension. @tomkeridesbikes hard at work putting her new park bike together. Some better pictures coming some time soon-ish #downhill #mountainbike #freeride #framebuilding #girlsridetoo

So this is the paint job I ended up with. It's always a bit of a mystery how it turns out, but from the start I knew it will be out there. Just like my own park bike. #mountainbike #downhill #freeride #fabrication #framebuilding

"Ist das Kunst oder kann das weg?" (Is this art or can it go [in the bin]?") It's another wild one, but that's what she ordered and I think it's a perfect fit for a bike that's built to go wild. #downhill #mountainbike #spraypaint #fabrication #framebuilding

Behind the scenes: Pickles and Nase are pretty curious and show excellent taste. #MTB #framebuilding #fabrication #gadse #cat

A couple of pictures of the finshed frame... planes to primer it, but time just flies these days. #framebuilding #fabrication #steelframe #mtb #downhill

Here it is: the "MauseR" single speed DH/Park frame for @tomkeridesbikes Now it's on to painting aka throwing rattlecans at it until it looks ridiculous. #framebuilding #mtb #downhill #freeride #fullsuspension

All pivot hardware tonight. Just missing a couple of spacers, but that's a task for tomorrow. My lathe really needs a rebuild, so I am mostly relying on modified pivot hardware from my day job. #fabrication #framebuilding #industrialdesign #CAD #steelframe

The last weld bead. For some reason this exact location always comes out the best. Now on to pivot hardware... #fabrication #TIGwelding #framebuilding #mtb #stahlrahmen

Cable go in, cable come out. I designed these inserts that use a cable routing solution that I designed during my equally exciting day job. #fabrication #TIGwelding #framebuilding #mtb #steelframe
