As I approach my final days on air 📺 @encanews , I find myself reflecting on a chapter that has meant so much to me.
What started as an opportunity a year ago became a space where I could truly grow — not just as a sports anchor, but as a person. This is where my passion for sport was given a platform, where I was encouraged to learn, and where I slowly found my voice on screen.
A special thank you to our Sports Editor, Vata Ngobeni, our News Editor, Lukhanyo Calata and our MD, Norman Munzhelele— thank you for your belief in me and for trusting me on air. Your confidence in me played such a big role in shaping this journey, and I’m incredibly grateful.
To all the other anchors who have always been so kind to me when I started , thank you so much. To the make-up team that make us looks so damn good and the constant jokes and laughs we’ve had off air I thank you guys the most a lot 😂.
To everyone at eNCA and outside who guided me, supported me, and believed in me — thank you. Your impact has shaped my journey in many ways I’ll always carry that with me.
It’s never easy to say goodbye to a place that has given you so much, and this moment is truly bittersweet. But I leave with a heart full of gratitude for every lesson, every challenge, and every opportunity.
