People ask if the concept changed over 10 years. The scale did, but the soul didn’t. We’re still house heads at heart, still family first, and still obsessed about the perfect track transition.
I took the chance to talk a little about our 10 year tour and explain why there is no big event in May this year. But don’t worry , something else is coming your way and will be announced soon. 🫂
June 17, 2021. We hadn’t danced together for a year due to the pandemic.
Playing for the @porzellan_bar crew at Funkhaus was the best birthday present I could’ve asked for. There were about 1,500 of us packed in—definitely way over the limit for that summer—but we all just needed to let go of that weight we’d been carrying since 2020.
Seeing that much built-up steam evaporate on the dancefloor is why I started this, and why I’ll never stop. It’s easy to get cynical now that the scene is facing new struggles, but we can’t take this for granted. We fought for this feeling.
