GREAT night celebrating the @mcgavockhighschoolband 2026-2026 season! An EVENTFUL evening! We had a major storm ā¦lost powerā¦but the SHOW WENT ON!! it was a great evening of fellowship and recognition of an amazing season! My little girl won the ā Newcomer To Percussion Awardā, for her efforts of learning , dual instruments! @ceceliaagreer I couldnāt be more proud of you! @tgudger has done an amazing job, stepping in and being involved in the band with me being an amazing member of the band booster team! Iām truly blessed to have these people in my life and to have these experiences! I thank God every day for them! Hereās the new season baby girl! Onward and upward!!! There is always negativity being posted, so I wanna sprinkle some POSITIVITY! While out DoorDashing this morning trying to catch up my rent, I passed this car pulled over..when I came back by..I saw this scene. Most of the things in our black neighborhoods with police are negative..today I came back by and these officers were out trying help get the car started..šš¾šš¾šš¾š¢ BRAVO GUYS! I know itās not always possible..but this is what I was used to seeing as a kid..āProtect AND Serveāā¦.THAT is how itās done!!! Just wanted to give these guys AND gal some praise! Spent New Years Day sightseeing on the way back from Cherokee, NC and it was absolutely beautiful! We visit Oconaluftee Islands Park and Mingo Fallsā¦.if you are ever in the area I highly recommend checking both of these spots outā¦.pics donāt even do them justice!
