This week I got to spend some time at the TGR Learning Lab Philadelphia on the Cobbs Creek campus and one word keeps staying with me: Home.
That’s how students describe this place.
It’s a safe space to learn, grow, be inspired and discover what’s possible. I even got to share some of my experiences with a multimedia class! The kids were particularly impressed that certain football players from Philly loveeeeee golf.
What began more than 20 years ago in Anaheim is now transforming lives in new communities, creating access to education, mentorship and opportunity for thousands
of young people.

Meredith Foote, Executive Director of the TGR Learning Lab Philadelphia, joined leaders and partners at the Philadelphia Eagles Autism Foundation Partner Summit to share how the Learning Lab is helping create opportunities for young people and families across West Philadelphia.
Through strong partnerships and shared purpose, we are building brighter futures together; one student, one family and one community at a time.

Before there was a permanent home for the TGR Learning Lab in Philadelphia, there was a bold beginning.
When The National was held at Aronimink Golf Club in 2010 and 2011, it helped create something far greater than a tournament legacy; it helped expand access to opportunity for young people across Philadelphia.
That momentum led to the launch of TGR Learning Lab satellite classrooms in local schools, bringing hands-on STEAM learning, mentorship and career exploration directly into the community.
From those first classrooms at KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy and Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School, to today’s permanent home at the Smilow Woodland TGR Learning Lab at Cobbs Creek, the mission has remained the same: create spaces where students can discover what’s possible.
What started as an investment in one city continues to shape futures for generations of Philadelphia students.
As we celebrate 30 Years of Driving Dreams Together, presented by @ey_us , we’re proud to reflect on the milestones that continue to shape what’s possible.

Through our partnership with Genesis, students recently spent the day exploring innovation through a hands-on workshop and hearing directly from industry professionals during a career panel.
Real experiences, real conversations and real pathways to what’s next.
Huge thank you to Genesis for investing in our students and helping bring career-connected learning to life at the Lab. 💙

Rodrigo’s story is a reminder that opportunity changes more than one life; it can change the trajectory of a family for generations.
Through the Earl Woods Scholar Program, students gain more than scholarship support. They build confidence, expand their networks and develop the tools to pursue their futures with purpose.

Investing in educators is one of the most powerful ways to expand opportunity for students.
Through STEM Studio, TGR Foundation provides free, hands-on professional learning experiences that help educators strengthen inquiry-based teaching, bring new ideas into their classrooms and create engaging learning environments where students thrive.
From Anaheim to Los Angeles to Philadelphia and virtually nationwide, educators are joining a growing community committed to inspiring curiosity and expanding what’s possible for students.

Sometimes all it takes is one opportunity, one mentor or one experience to change the course of a life.
What began as after-school classes at the TGR Learning Lab Anaheim became a lifelong passion for learning, leadership and giving back. Today, that same student is now inspiring the next generation as an instructor, helping young people discover what’s possible through hands-on learning and meaningful mentorship.
From member to instructor, this is what lasting impact looks like.
As we celebrate 30 Years Driving Dreams Together, presented by @EY_US , stories like this remind us that when we invest in young people, we create ripple effects that impact generations. Learn more at /tgr-foundation-30th-anniversary/.

This week, we celebrate the educators who help make opportunity possible.
From inspiring curiosity in the classroom to creating safe spaces for students to learn, grow and explore their potential, educators are at the heart of every student success story.
At TGR Foundation, we are grateful for the incredible teachers, instructors, mentors and education leaders across our TGR Learning Labs, Earl Woods Scholar Program and partner school districts who show up each day with passion, purpose and care for young people.
Thank you for believing in students, challenging them to grow and helping shape brighter futures.
Your impact reaches far beyond what can be measured.
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week. 💙

Hands-on STEM experiences, mentorship and real-world connections can open up new pathways for students, especially in communities that have historically been under-resourced.
I recently joined Ron Stefanski on the DisruptED podcast to talk about the work happening @TGRFound and how we’re reimagining education through our Learning Labs.
Grateful for the conversation!

Investing in educators creates ripple effects that extend far beyond a single classroom.
Through professional development opportunities, we are helping educators strengthen their practice, explore new ideas and bring innovative learning experiences back to the students they serve.
When educators are supported, students benefit and communities grow stronger because of it.
As we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, we are grateful for the educators who continue to learn, lead and inspire the next generation every day.
