This is personal for me. My journey with Michigan State started in Fall 2011. I was 17, in the James Madison program, and not taking school seriously at all. Bad grades, partying, being irresponsible—I left in 2012 on academic probation. But I made a promise to myself: I’d be back one day to finish. Life took me on a different path. Community colleges, dropping out, then finding my footing and graduating from Texas Southern University with a Finance degree in 2017. In 2021, feeling lost, I decided to apply to MSU’s Executive MBA program—four days before the deadline. I didn’t think I’d get in, but I did. I started that fall, excited…and then life hit me hard. I lost my aunt to breast cancer, became CEO of tgin, and then lost my baby brother less than 6 months later. I was shattered and had to step away. But I never let go of that promise I made to myself. In October 2024, I was ready to come back. By May 2025, I was driving back to East Lansing, starting right where I left off in a room full of strangers. This past year stretched me in ways I can’t even explain—but I kept going. This is more than a degree for me. It’s about finishing. It’s about growth. It’s about becoming the woman God called me to be. Sunday, May 3, 2026—I walk across that stage as a walking testimony. Nobody but God! šŸ™šŸ½šŸ™ŒšŸ½ #msu #mba #co2026 #ceo #tginari

Being a CEO is hard… ghetto even šŸ˜‚ One thing leadership will teach you QUICKLY is that your team members are your team members, not your friends. That doesn’t mean you can’t care about people, build genuine relationships, or create a healthy culture but business is still business. Sometimes people struggle separating personal feelings from accountability, feedback, expectations, or decisions that have to be made for the greater good of the company. And as a leader, you have to learn how to navigate personalities, emotions, and team dynamics without losing sight of the vision. Definitely one of the hardest lessons in leadership for me. šŸ˜… What are your thoughts? šŸ‘€ #tginari #arissingleton #ceounfiltered #inthecorneroffice

The best teams don’t avoid hard conversations… they create space for them. One thing I’ve learned as a CEO is the importance of communication, alignment, and creating opportunities for your team to feel heard. From weekly 1:1s to team meetings and goal setting, the conversations you have internally matter. One framework I stand by: IDS conversations — Identify. Discuss. Solve. Because strong teams and strong companies are built through clarity, accountability, and trust. #CEOUnfiltered #tginari #inthecorneroffice

Sometimes being a CEO means leading without a clear answer. There isn’t always a right or wrong move, just the responsibility to decide, adapt, and keep going. It’s not about having all the answers. It’s about trusting your approach and figuring it out anyway. #tginari #ceounfiltered #inthecorneroffice
