We are thrilled to welcome Maurice “Moetown” Lee as a featured guest speaker.
Moetown Lee is a prominent Atlanta-based music industry executive and the partner of ONE Musicfest, one of the largest African American-owned music festivals in the United States. As a key curator and co-producer, he helps shape the festival’s dynamic lineup—an experience that attracts more than 100,000 attendees.
Moetown launched his career as a DJ in Compton, California, and later relocated to Atlanta in the late 1990s, where he founded Westway Consulting, a full-service music industry firm specializing in artist management, commercial radio promotion, and marketing.
Over the past two decades, he has collaborated with several leading artists—including Snoop Dogg, Janet Jackson, and Kendrick Lamar—supporting careers that have spanned international tours, gold singles, platinum albums, and grammy recognition.
One of the accomplishments he values most is his nonprofit, Positive Outlooks, which is dedicated to community building, youth development, and mental health awareness.
Maurice “Moetown” Lee is more than a festival organizer—he is a cultural architect in Atlanta’s music scene, blending industry expertise with a deep commitment to uplifting the community.
He will lead a timely conversation on the intersection of music and culture, and the impact that connection continues to have on our communities.
