A few weeks ago our students from Mount Etna Child & Family Services Embers for Access Foundation Aubrey Academy and Zalik Academy had the opportunity to participate in a special field experience with Toronto FC at BMO Field and seeing children of all abilities backgrounds and support needs represented in such a large community space was incredibly meaningful. 🩵⚽️
Moments like these matter deeply because every child deserves the opportunity to feel included celebrated visible and part of something bigger than themselves.
As organizations rooted in accessibility dignity neurodiversity affirming practices and meaningful inclusion experiences like these continue to remind us how important it is to keep advocating for spaces where all children and families feel welcomed and supported.
Inclusion does not always look the same for every child and that is exactly why representation flexibility compassion and accessibility matter so much.
We are incredibly proud of our students for showing courage resilience joy and confidence throughout the experience and we are grateful for the conversations that continue surrounding how community experiences can become even more inclusive and accessible moving forward.
It is so beautiful knowing that the same field our students walked on has also welcomed legends of the game like Lionel Messi and Ronaldinho reminding our children that they too belong in big spaces big dreams and unforgettable moments. 💙
Most importantly our children got to shine and that is what this work is all about.
Thank you to all of the families staff volunteers and community partners @popeyes_ajaxnorth@medalslaw who continue helping us create spaces where every child belongs.

Toronto FC Living Legend
Anyone who knows Rohan Ricketts understands the impact he’s had on the game in this city. Through RRSMG Academy, his commitment to developing young players in Toronto is on another level.
If your child has trained with him or his coaching staff, you’ve seen firsthand the passion, discipline, and mentorship he brings every single day. For many kids, he’s more than a coach, he’s a true football role model and, without question, a living legend in their eyes.
We’d love to see him featured in the Toronto FC Living Legends Game on May 8.
If Rohan has made an impact on your family like he has on ours, share this video and let people know why he deserves to be there.
Magnus has already cast his vote, nominating the entire RRSMG Academy, past and present.
Let’s go! ⚽

That’s where the real growth happens.
