Anyone else old enough to remember before LED strips days and you had to use actual tubes? Certainly a lot easier and cheaper to do now. Good thing, cause I’m pretty sure I already broke this set 😂.

There’s something special about bringing a car back from certain death. Lotus Elise was my dream car from age 14- I remember taking the $5k I made working as a gymnastics coach and saving to the bank to save for it one day. As I got older they got more rare and more expensive. When I heard about Copart I waited patiently for years until getting so lucky with this one!
I also wouldn’t be here with this car with out the help of my friends. From auction to getting it back on the road, it feels like everyone has contributed. Thank you all!

Guys I’ve been so excited to share all the work down to the #Lotus so far this year- starting with some incredible body work by @reconproswaterford .
They did such an incredible job on what I thought was unfixable- fiberglass work all around, repainting everything they worked on, finished up with a jaw dropping sand and polish by their in house detailer.
The paint blended perfect- would you believe the closest match was the paint code for ‘GM work van white?’ So fitting for me 😂
I did not think this car would ever look so good again and I’m truly grateful for everyone involved getting it here. You really need to check these guys out- @reconproswaterford . It’s almost impossible to find someone to deal with fiberglass professionally, but these are your guys.
Now I really REALLY need to get the door handles sorted out 😂 any one familiar with #LotusElise door handles got any advice?

I drove the #LotusElise all the way to Boyne mountain to snowboard and this is the only photo I took 😂 💀 I’m the worst car photographer ever!
But man I was having so much fun- the weekend just flew by. I guess I’ll just have to drive it up again!
Guess that famous movie car! They really just don’t do graphics like these anymore. I think we may see a resurgence of 2000s graphics and car style, with fashion kind of rounding back to #y2k style!
