“Dance, Pop, Music!” out 5/21 vía @textmerecords 🎸
A song about understanding, after years of artistic struggle, why I do this: because I f*cking love it. I love blowing out the speakers and headbanging, I love choosing the song that’s going to make the crowd go wild, I LOVE dance music! It’s kindof that simple. Don’t overthink it.

Have you listened to ‘Equinoccio’ from @ladona415 ’s new album Corrientes? 🌊✨
‘Equinoccio’ is a Bolero featuring the sacred Santeria drum Batá and a soaring string arrangement by an all-female, SF-based string section. The song tells the story of two star-crossed lovers caught in the vice-grip of a love that with endures the change of the seasons and enormous distance. It utilizes booming 808s and synthesizers to explore rupture from traditional Bolero instrumentation and is highlighted by lush violins and haunting vocal harmonies. The music video highlights an all-female surf crew as La Doña pleads her case to be liberated to the wind, the mountain, and the ocean.
Celebrate SF’s La Doña and Corrientes with us this Friday at the album release show!
