Thank You, Texas đ¤đź
Six seasons. Hard to put into words what this place has meant to me.
To the alumni: thank you for showing up, packing the TSC, and creating the most electric environment in college swimming. You made it real. You made it matter. There is no greater legacy in college swimming than Texasâand when you step on this deck, you feel it. Not as pressure, but as pride and connection. In the way this place takes care of its own.
Carol â six years. Side by side.
In the trenches, through the grind, the doubt, the belief. We started with something to prove and ended up kicking down the door of whatâs possible. We did it our way. And we grew. A lot.
Iâve seen firsthand what it takes to lead here. The pressure, the expectationâand youâve carried it while staying true to yourself. That matters. Itâs rare. And itâs powerful.
Youâve made me a better coach. More importantly, youâve shown me how to truly care for and lead women. That will stay with me forever.
@chad_mylin , thank you for always giving your all for this team and being such a bright light on deck. You live by the golden rule, and people around you feel that. I canât wait to see what you do for this sport.
To the swimmers: thank you.
For going to the hard places. For trusting the process. For letting your guard down and letting me in. From October through Camp Lucy/FIMO, Boulders, green weeks, fast Fridays, video reviewâyou showed up. This is hard. And you inspired me every single day.

Eddie ReeseâI got to learn from the best to ever do it. âTake care of yourself, take care of each other, and the rest will take care of itself.â
@coach_bowman âyou showed me the daily systems required for elite performance, what it takes to sustain it, to never avoid the hard thing, and how to create an environment where success is the standard.
Forever a Longhorn.
Thereâs nothing like throwing the horns up.
This has been the greatest honor of my life.
