Sorry, @gretathunberg - this one lives to die another day Clutch was PACKED with mud, basically concreted the clutch open. Water/mud got into the T-case vent, but thankfully stayed out of the diffs and transmission. Every U-joint was basically ruined and the front slip yoke seized... but it's all back together. Welp, now I know it'll ford 3-feet of mud and water, but I should probably stop after half a dozen or so laps. But had fun giving rides to Jeep owners at the Nubbys Play Pit Toy Drive, worked in some maintenance, and didn't break anything serious. 🤘 Just never going mudding like that again 🤣 #ladrillodeblanco

Remember when @BMW wasn't trying to scam everyone with heated seat subscriptions and soulless, last-place "M" products? When the Z3 debuted, their answer to the Miata's warpath, they made a huge push with merch, and my dad snagged this little oil filled pen from the Moretz BMW dealership nextdoor to the Caddy shop. In retrospect, you're actually causing this girl to crash her Z3 into a tree every time you gotta write something. 🤣 Still cool some 30 years later... unlike BMW itself. #BMW #Z3

Clutch, no bueno Door seals, FUCKING MUY BIEN Hopefully it's just the clutch got packed with mud. But worst case is, an input shaft or clutch kit will get it back on the road. Had fun at the Nubbys Play Pit Christmas Toy Drive, and a maybe got a little froggy rocking it out. No real biggie, and made it through more than the Jeeps. Met a bunch of awesome folk while getting out and playing the floor as lava with the soup, climbing over the truck to strap it. The best news is that the door seals didn't let a drop of water or mud in. But I forgot why I hate mudding and don't do it anymore, the fucking clean up is brutal. 🤪 #ladrillodeblanco #nubbysplaypit

I don't know who needs to hear this, but don't take your public lands for granted and fight all efforts to privatize it. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. #MojaveLavaTubes

Found this oldy but goody from 2014. The job was boring, but the parking lot was worth it. Just about every single day. That Legacy GT didn't really care about anything other than eating EJ25Ds every couple months, it was a champ. You can tell it was the ol' rallycross era of life, jump ALL THE THINGS.

Slowly, the Runway Dog is deciding to get over her fear of cars and trucks, and is turning into a solid little shop dog. Even though she's been all over the country with Otto, Texas to California, up to Seattle and all over the south west, but she didn't travel well. Basically hated it, and she'd sit out some days going hiking. She's overcoming a bunch of old fears and quirks fast. Some of it is driven by loneliness, I'm sure, but without Otto as her guide on what to do in a lot of situations, I've watched her kind of adjust into pushing her own limits. She's into a whole new phase of just being a dog, after finding her about a decade ago at the San Marcos Airport. Every few years she has a little revelation, I guess, and relaxes a little more. #runwaytheairportdog

@hotrodmagazine Drag Week '22 from the perspective of a 75-year-old 35mm Ihagee-Dresden Exa. Random roll of black and white. I don't use it enough, it's a decently challenging camera to shoot, but it's able to deliver some excellent vibes. Got the hang of the pop-up view finder and focusing, which is the hat-trick of the Exas but part of what makes them tricky to use when everything is in motion. #ihageedresden #exa #hotroddragweek #draganddrive

#nationaldogday I miss Otto every day, still, but grateful to see the results of his time with the Runway Dog pay off in a mellow ol' girl. She's come a loooong way since being found at the San Marcos Airport 10 years ago, that skinny thing in the first photo. They were best buds in the back seat of my old 325 just an hour later. She recognizes that she can finally relax and enjoy life and just be a dog, and has become super open to new people like never before. She'll stand up for herself if needed, but is absolutely the most patient dog with pups that are five times her size these days, doesn't bark and react to much any more and chills at a restaurant patio pretty well. And she's a big reason Otto was an awesome dog, it didn't take long after rescuing for her to start momma-dogging him when he was being a goober puppy, if he ignored me she'd point to him, and if I have her the word, she'd absolutely bowling ball him and then corral him back to me. 😂 It's been 10 years of constant work, I'm just glad she's got time to actually enjoy some of them fully, without the weight of her past. Dogs are fuckin precious
