„Der hat das so schön gemacht, mit so einer Akribie hat er das genäht, der Arzt.“ Im Leben der Mutter verweben sich Katholizismus und psychische Belastung. Im körnigen 16mm-Material sind Kratzer sichtbar, von anderen, körperlichen Narben ist im Voiceover die Rede. In dieser widerständigen Miniatur siegt der Respekt vor der Entschiedenheit über die Kritik an der moralischen Verurteilung. Dafür reichen wenige Bilder, ein Kichern und ein gemeinsam gesungenes Lied. Die Bezüge bleiben offen, die Ambivalenz, die zwischen den Schwarz-Weiß-Aufnahmen von Interieurs, Arznei- und Andachtsarrangements, zwischen On und Off entsteht, darf so stehen bleiben. Auch in der Bibel gibt es Menschen, die keine Kraft mehr zum Leben haben. Am Ende ist die Haut wieder weich gecremt, und Bilder, Text und Gesang werden sanft miteinander vernäht.
