I came into this week carrying a tragedy, losing my best friend from high school. I flew in from New York after working at Disney upfront and landed knowing that this week was going to be really, really busy for me.
On Wednesday, I picked up my best friend from college, @journeycoach , and immediately my stress levels went down because from that point on, I was surrounded and in the loving hands of my @spelman_college sisters. Not just my sisters, but my fellow classmates from the C'91, as we were celebrating all week long our 35th reunion from Spelman.
It is what I needed. It is what brought me joy, a sense of peace, and calm. Also, knowing that we were equally surrounded by our classmates at @morehouse1867.The@spelhouse91 love is really what carried me through to this point.
As I sit here in the @deltaskyclubs after working Baccalaureate and commencement, and doing reunion—the only way we can do it—I am just reflecting on how grateful and blessed I am to be part of this family.

today felt like the right day to finally share this.
on April 7th i had the honor of partnering with @mpicac for Industry Xchange 2026 at the @fieldmuseum .
it brought me joy to not just show up to emcee + moderate but design the entire program from the ground up. the keynotes Journey Framework. Foundation. Infrastructure. Execution and Risk/Safety of producing a city-wide. the Hot Seat format where panelists with no prep and no notes. i got @snapsight_ai woven in at three strategic moments so 300 people could watch their own insights build in real time on the screen behind me. i used guided networking prompts so the learning did not stop when the program did and the audience actually participated.
MPI Chicago honored that work by officially naming me their MPI Chicago Event Execution Resource Partner, and I am grateful to give.
that meant a lot.
