This recipe is a Morgan family CLASSIC for both Christmas and Thanksgiving! It’s not an exact science so play with the ratios to taste, you can’t go wrong with this one!
1lbs macaroni noodles
1/2stick of butter
1/2 flour
Milk
Heavy Cream
8 oz shredded sharp cheddar
8 oz shredded mild cheddar
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Tony’s Cajun seasoning
Salt and pepper
1 roll of Ritz crackers
Extra cheese for topping
Boil pasta and drain. In a new pot, melt butter, add flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add milk and a little cream slowly till a think sauce is formed. Add all seasoning. Add shredded cheese and stir til melted. Add more milk if it’s too thick. Combine with noodles. Put in greased baking dish and top with Ritz crackers and shredded cheese. Bake at 350° till golden and bubbly!
