Happy 2026. We begin (again)!
First thank you for being here always for us. 2025 was rough for many and we are still here :) Perhaps someone helped you through this year? Take a moment to thank them - the friend who checked in, the teacher who gave one good note, the fellow actor who ran lines with you.
the ones took care of you while you struggled with bad days.
For us, it is our team. Good days, tired days, low-battery days - we show up for each other. We are lucky to have each other.
A new year isn’t a makeover or a magic trick that happens in a snap. It’s just a doorway you get to walk into. You don’t have to conquer it. It isn’t a race, or a test, or proof that you’re “ahead.” Let’s make this the year of small wins - those things most people never clap for, but the things that actually change you.
* The page of a book before bed.
* The accent you practice while making chai.
* The riyaz you do quietly, tired but daily.
* The rest you choose when your body/mind asks.
* Your tribe who meet to learn just so you all can grow together.
Consistency isn’t being unstoppable. Consistency is being adaptable. Just show up honestly. however you can.
Let your craft change shape to fit your life,
instead of waiting for your life
to be perfect for your craft.
If this year has one mission, let it be this:
“Get better at something.” One thing. Slowly. Truthfully. With heart.
Begin in tiny, human, possible steps.
Before you scroll away - say it out loud, write it down, comment one thing you want to get better at in 2026.
Just one. Name it. Claim it. Begin.
A year from now, may you look back and say, “I did this.”
Till then, know we see you. We’re rooting for you. We’re so glad you’re here.

What a room! What a day! What a bunch of brave, generous, joyous actors 🎉
A huge thank you to everyone who showed up for the “Prep It Like You Mean It” fundraiser for @catcafestudio with such openness, play, instinct, and heart. You jumped into games, scenes, lists, calls, silences, awkward pauses, strange choices, big laughs, tiny truths, and all the delicious terror of “again, but different.”
Oh and we even went beyond 3 PM, cos the room had the kind of energy and with @mohitagarwal14 “find your सुर ” session - time felt fleeting!
Big love to @thirdbellstudios giving us space, and exactly the kind of room where actors can risk, listen, fall, find, and try again. To the Team TJC @uttara24@premmodii and @rahulsbatra - YOU are the HEART of all we do♥️

Acting is always a dialogue and we want to see how you light up a scene together. Bring your partner, bring your prep, and bring your best two minute scene. We’re filming every selected duo. We’re cheering for discovery. We’re here to meet new talent.
RULES (What we’re looking for) A 2-minute scene in Hindi OR English OR Hinglish from theatre play or from a movie or an original scene Two actors in person, equally present, equally prepped Live timer - you have to stop at 2 mins.
YOU MUST ALSO Prep a clean intro which says Name / Age / City of Residence / Experience & Training and languages known.
The only props are a table and two chairs. Avoid too many props and too much movement as we will be filming. Actors will be shortlisted and given a slot - we do not want people to be crowding in the heat.
