I had a blast performing at the Youth Pride Ball last weekend. I've been performing for families and kids for as long as I've been doing drag, and performing for Queer youth is always a highlight. I wish there were events like the ball back when I was a young queer person. The community and love I see people give to each other is amazing. Happy pride.

Out at the Zoo yesterday went great! It was so lovely to get to perform for pride at @wellington.zoo . My grandad was an elephant keeper for them back in the day. He never knew I was queer, or that I'd go on to do drag, but I hope he would have liked it. Performing for children and families is a big passion of mine, I wish I'd had access to queer art as a young person. Next stop, the Pride Youth Ball next weekend!

Red Light Night was magical! So nice to be in a show with other s workers and to be tipped so generously by a loving queer audience! I did a pretty personal act about having to wear wigs to every broth/club shift and booking, and losing who I was to the high femme fantasy I wore for so many years and having to fight to find myself again. I'm so thankful it went down well, I loved talking to yall about my act afterwards and the shared experiences we've had, both in and out of the industry. So many people wear masks and costumes and hide themselves for work/family. It's so good to be seen, and I see you. Thank you for seeing me too.

On my way to perform a drag act for Wellington High School's pride week. Feeling like a rainbow fairy. I had a blast performing here last year, so I'm pumped to be able to do it again! Catching the bus in day drag is always weird, but I've had a lot of lovely people comment on my look so far. Things have really come a long way since I was in high school, and I'm so glad, our rainbow youth deserve all the love and acceptance in the world.
