I had the honour of judging at Lyftathon 2026 and honestly, the energy in the room was beautiful to see.
Young people came ready with ideas, confidence, curiosity and the courage to build. Moments like this are a reminder that innovation does not always start with perfect answers. Sometimes, it starts with showing up, trying, learning, and believing your idea is worth sharing.

Sharon is a digital product and marketing leader with experience across product design, software development, digital innovation, and growth-driven customer engagement.
As a former Senior Product Designer, she led the design of the BK Mobile App and the Kigali Genocide Memorial platform, among other impactful digital projects.
In her current role as Digital Marketing Lead at Bank of Kigali, she works across technology, customer experience, and growth, shaping digital solutions grounded in real user needs.
We’re really looking forward to having her in the room reviewing ideas, giving feedback, and helping shape what gets built.
