This video blew my mind. The pure talent. The legends. The passion. The message. The energy.
I recently saw the Michael Jackson movie and if you know me you’ll know that he is my favorite artist of all time. I was once again inspired just as I was when I was a kid.
I’m not a technically trained dancer. I am self taught. I was always so inspired by music videos and any dance break in a movie or musical. I would stay up learning these dances in my bathroom mirror almost every night. Michael Jackson was a huge inspiration for me as a passionate and creative dancer. His authenticity is what was so loud about him and I was so inspired by that.
This song reminds me why I dance. Why I teach. Why I create. Why I live life.
This is what I want to teach. This is what I’m passionate about.
Life is the greatest gift of all.
Love is the driving force of God.
We are the world.
And no matter your age…we are the children. And we always will be. So be passionate. Be creative. Be loving. Be giving. Be a child.

Whenever I freestyle I never put any limitations on what or how my body wants to express. I can be anything I want to be. There are no rules. Only expression-we’ve become so conditioned to look and be perfect that we have forgotten how to be imperfect. Being imperfect is okay-it’s human. It’s beautiful. Dance imperfectly, sing imperfectly, cook imperfectly, be human 🫶🏻
