To all the bands who brought the energy, the atmosphere, and the pure sonic chaos we live for – you absolutely crushed it. Your passion set the tone for an incredible weekend, and we’re honoured to have shared the stage and the experience with you. Huge respect to The Armchair Theatre for hosting us with open arms and creating the perfect space for music, community, and mayhem. Your team is always solid, professional, and welcoming – we appreciate you more than you know. And of course, a heartfelt shout-out to the SPCA Good Hope. Your dedication, compassion, and tireless work for animals inspire us. We’re proud to have been part of an event that supports such an important cause. Stellenbosch was the place to be for this heat and boy did it go HARD!! @thefallenprophets took the win and will be battling it put at the finals on the 6th of June at @sognage !!! Their competition @ultramal_band and @terrorazeband were absolutely insane!! And we cannot wait to see them on the battle stage again. Come jol at the finals🤘🏻

The Thr3 Proj3ct (@the.thr3.proj3ct ) Listening to The Thr3 Proj3ct is like falling into a dream. You find yourself disconnecting from reality and drifting off to this slow, churning instrumental prog band. Dripping with wet vocals and atmosphere, you might just lose yourself in their sound.  💭🌌 Thegorath (Durban) (@thegorath_band ) As if casting a ritual, as Thegorath hit the stage, donning classic corpse paint and apparel, they put us all under a spell. Screeches from hell fill the room, followed by blaring guitars and an imposing atmosphere. Your body might just take a life of its own.  🐍✨️ Corpse Fortress (Cpt) (@corpse.fortress ) Don't listen too closely, Corpse Fortress might kill you and bring you back from the dead as a shambling zombie. A female-fronted death metal band from Cape Town, their guttural vocals, pounding drums, and melodic guitars are key to their necromancy. 🧟‍♂️🧙🏽‍♀️ TerroRaze (Cpt) (@terrorazeband ) As if a sound bomb exploded right next to you, TerroRaze is here to blow us away with their Brutal Tech Death Metal from Cape Town. Powerful, unyielding, and ferocious enough to trigger a full-blown techno apocalypse. Cover your ears... actually, don't bother. 💥 🎧 Mithras Crowned (@mithrascrowned ) Rising from the annals of myth and legend, come the black metal boys themselves, Mithras Crowned. Guitars and drums played at breakneck speed, there is something unearthly about them that isn’t for us wee mortals to understand. Bow accordingly. 👑 🙇🏻‍♂️   Who are you looking forward to watching?
