If Project No. 17 could speak, she would say:
“I have put it all on the line and have nothing left to give. My tower signifies the creative hub from which all other spaces rotate. The journey to reach my door is not linear, but rather an adventure that presents gifts along the way."
Project No. 17, CONCEPTUAL GUIDING REFERENCE TEXTS/ QUOTES:
“One must shed the bad taste of wanting to agree with many. "Good" is no longer good when one's neighbor mouths it. And how should there be a "common good"! The term contradicts itself: whatever can be common always has little value. In the end it must be as it is and always has been: great things remain for the great, abysses for the profound, nuances and shudders for the refined, and, in brief, all that is rare for the rare.”
― Friedrich Nietzsche, Beyond Good and Evil
“It is the business of the very few to be independent; it is a privilege of the strong. And whoever attempts it, even with the best right, but without being OBLIGED to do so, proves that he is probably not only strong, but also daring beyond measure. He enters into a labyrinth, he multiplies a thousandfold the dangers which life in itself already brings with it; not the least of which is that no one can see how and where he loses his way, becomes isolated, and is torn piecemeal by some minotaur of conscience. Supposing such a one comes to grief, it is so far from the comprehension of men that they neither feel it, nor sympathize with it. And he cannot any longer go back! He cannot even go back again to the sympathy of men!”
― Friedrich Nietzsche, Beyond Good and Evil
Thankful and grateful for my homie and patron @joshuatreesun on staying the course as we make project30 a reality.
Our work has been years in the making to bring this project to the world and it’s not about us, it’s about supporting people and about what we can give.
Healing can be created with architecture and we will be offering it to thousands of people who come to our beautiful home of Joshua Tree to do their own work of getting to know themselves better.
We are on a mission and this is just the beginning, fam.
Located in the mythical California desert, project 30 shall be a beacon world-wide for healing. Mark these words…🙏🏼
Much love to all who will be touched by and have already touched this project 🏜🤙
Construction 🏗 to begin at the aligned time 🪄🙏🏼

Flamingo Heights, California
There is a sameness in many rentals, and our Patrons track this in the marketplace.
I get involved to change the story and offer unforgettable architecture your guests will speak about for years to come (and come back year after year to visit).
Bold claim, however that is the power of great design.
Now to lay next to the pool and view the sunset with your beloved is one thing.
And to be steeped inside of a bigger spatial calibration with them is another.
The stair navigates you down deeper into the landscape, options emerge and you are guided to make a choice.
Which will you choose?

Project No. 33
Joshua Tree, California
The year was 1976 and a Columbia University Professor channeled a 1000 page book, with no formal research.
In 2022 I read this book, and felt the wisdom in the pages. Especially where I read that there is a hidden desert garden, where people come one by one.
And they don’t leave as such.
Josh reached out to me to meet and we discussed his property, and right away I knew the underlaying story that needed to be told.
The courtyard off that massive open wall embodies the entire project.
A semi-enclosed space, filled with plantings where people can gather.
Roughly 8 more months left until occupants can inhabit the grounds.
